Millennials get plenty of flak over their penchant for instant gratification. When the first reasonably priced, easy-to-use immediate shooter, the Polaroid OneStep Land camera, hit the market in 1977, it quickly grew to become the country’s best-selling digital camera, 40 years before “Millennials” were a thing. That Polaroid images so dominated 80s-era household albums and popular culture gives the square-framed, usually off-color snaps a retro attraction that at present is celebrated by fanatics and aped by billion-dollar apps like Instagram. What would the pc market appear to be at present with out the IBM PC?
